Our Mission
In the province of Independencia, Dominican Republic, many children face poverty and lack basic school and hygiene supplies. Our goal is to provide 450 children with backpacks filled with essentials for the upcoming school year. We've identified those in greatest need across 13 schools. Your support...whether through volunteering or donations...can empower these children with the tools for success and a nurturing, supportive environment.
Volunteer Experience
- Explore the cities of Cotui and Sosua
- Experience the culture and cuisine
- Prepare backpacks and supplies for children in need
- Help Organize and lead our celebratory event
- Help Distribute backpacks and supplies
- Visit children in their homes
- Explore beautiful Sosua beaches
- Hike and slide down waterfalls!
Package Inclusions
- All Ground Transportation
- Lodging in Cotui and Hotel in Sosua with private pool and beach access
- Group Activities: Scenic Boat Ride, Cotui Special Dinner, 27 Charcos (Waterfalls) excursion, Beach Adventure.
- 2 meals a day + some dinners.
